Job Description

As a Senior investment advisor, you will be responsible for working closely with client advisors, products specialist and private clients  directly in ensuring that clients are provided with the best appropriate investment solutions that meet their investment and risk requirements. You will be repsonsible for helping clients structure their wealth portfolios adopting both a top down as well as bottom up approach towards the process.
Our client is  seeking  an experienced portfolio counselor/manager with at least 5 years of relevant products advisory and portfolio advisory experience gained either with a private bank or with an indepedent investment advisory firm or asset management firm. The successful candidate should be well versed across all investment products and asset class, and be experienced in understanding and analysing client risk profiles. You should have relevant experience managing  clients and building lasting relationships. You should be a good teamplayer and ability to communicate articulately.


Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:
University degree or banking apprenticeship with successful professional experience, preferably in the investment environment. Possess a sound knowledge of all traditional and alternative asset classes including strategic and tactical asset allocation.  Profound knowledge of global financial markets and trading concepts. Fluency in Maltese and English is a must.  High client and service orientation as well as outstanding communication skills.  Strong ability to cope with pressure combined with a high level of flexibility.   High self motivation and hands on attitude.
