Account Executive – Business to Business (B2B)
Full-Time permanent role
Central Edinburgh / potentially home-based - up to £25,000 per annum + excellent performance related bonus


One of my clients, an innovative IT Security software provider is currently recruiting for experienced Account Executives to work alongside their established and successful sales & engineering teams. The Account Executives will be responsible for driving the growth of the business with both new and existing customers, working to sales targets and providing excellent customer service.

In addition to the basic salary above, there is also an excellent performance-related bonus and incentive scheme in place in this role, where hitting targets and converting calls into well qualified opportunities will be rewarded.

Duties involved in this role will include:-
• Making contact with the relevant decision makers of potential new clients of all sizes
• Making warm approaches to current customers to upsell products and services
• Receiving and maximising incoming warm leads from product evaluations, trial version users and current customers in the market for further products
• Liaising with the Sales Engineering side of the business to conduct demonstrations
• Providing the highest level of customer service at all times
• Creating quotes for new customers
• Maintaining and updating customer records on the SalesForce CRM system
• Various other ad-hoc sales-related duties as directed

In order to be considered for these roles, candidates must have:-
• Previous high-volume business development, outbound sales or telesales experience with the ability to convert leads and close sales (a background in IT or Software would be an advantage but is not essential)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as you will be representing the company in a professional manner to potential clients
• A good understanding of IT, including a good grasp of MS Office and Outlook (CRM system experience such as SalesForce would be a big advantage)
• The ability to work at a fast pace in a target driven environment
