What is this role?

Reed are looking for a Bookings Coordinator to join their on-site recruitment team at the Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust. The Booking Coordinator is the main point of contact to all managers requiring temporary staff for the hospital. You will liaise with Managers at the hospital to understand their staffing requirements and be responsible for booking nurses and other clinical staff onto shifts for the hospital..

What are we looking for?

The role involves being on the phone quite a bit to both the hospital Managers and also the staff bank candidates to arrange shifts so you need to have strong verbal and written communication skills. Ideally we would like someone with experience in either customer services or in a phone based role such as call centre experience, but we open to speaking to bright and confident individuals who feel that this role would suit their personality and career aspirations. You will also need to be PC literate including Word and Excel and also be comfortable learning new IT based systems.

If you have previous experience in volume recruitment or delivering recruitment services with the NHS then this would be ideal, but not essential.
