My client is within the industry of education looking for a Client care and Security manager. 


-To deliver an effective and professional security service that supports excellent student experience and ensures a safe, secure and healthy environment for the benefit of all students, staff, visitors and members of the public.

-To work as an active member across all IT & Estates teams in order to deliver first class services to all stakeholders and respond effectively to feedback.

To provide day to day management and mentoring of the Client Care team to ensure the required level of security is available at all times across the College estate.
To liaise effectively with all College departments to ensure College Safeguarding procedures are in place and are adhered to.
To manage out of hours cover for the College estate liaising with external security companies and central monitoring stations as necessary to ensure compliance with the College’s key holder responsibilities.
To be responsible for ensuring the buildings are unlocked and secured in liaison with the College Estates teams.
To ensure that, in liaison with the Front of House Team, appropriate cover and procedures are maintained for the College Reception Desk.
To provide daily first aid cover in the College from the Client Care team in liaison with the College’s Health & Safety Advisor.
To manage cash-in-transit in accordance with College security and insurance requirements.
To manage, develop and operate all CCTV and surveillance systems in order to search, edit and retrieve images for College management and other authorities when legally requested.
To manage and develop the College’s Access Control System providing appropriate and auditable access and ID Cards for students, staff and visitors.
To be responsible for the management and allocation of all keys for staff and contractors.
To ensure training and operational practises are in place for the Client Care team to ensure the effective evacuation of buildings and mustering of all occupants during emergencies and Fire Drills assisting the Incident Officer as necessary.
To work closely in partnership with the local Police and wider enforcement agencies sharing relevant information and intelligence as directed.
To liaise with all Emergency Services, providers of security and fire alarm equipment and local businesses as appropriate.
To manage the College car park and perimeter, any necessary Health & Safety issues and associated barriers, signage and access controls.
To ensure that the College remains compliant with all statutes relative to security services, systems and documentation including the Private Security Industry Act, Data Protection, CCTV codes of practice and other relevant legislation.
To maintain accurate and secure records for all areas of the security provision including incident recording, restraint records, etc.
To develop and train the College’s Client Care team to compliant SIA standards as required, producing assignment instructions, carrying out security audits and risk assessments as necessary.
To work proactively with the Director of IT & Estates and all associated managers to ensure seamless operations across all services.
To carry out duties within the team and wider IT & Estates Division, any other duties commensurate with your post/grade as may be allocated by the Director of IT & Estates.
