A vacancy has arisen for an experienced cost accountant to join one of their growing finance team based in St Helens. Reporting into the Company Accountant, and dotted line to the MD, you will partner the operational site teams in building strong business controlling. The position is offering an attractive salary of £34,000 - £38,000 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the operational management teams covering 4 sites in delivering weekly/monthly reporting on volume, manufacturing and material variances, yields, fixed costs and site margin to the Senior Management teams.
• Be a Site Specialist for the business division, preparing the monthly results and identifying key drivers in the segments to support the reporting process.
• Managing Product costings
• Involvement in the standard costing process. Perform ad-hoc standard costing as required by the UK planning team.







The successful candidate will ideally have manufacturing experience and a strong background in costing and partnering operational sites. You will have fantastic communication skills to deliver financial information to different divisions. Ideally, you will be confident in MS Excel, and have a working proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics.
