I am recruiting for a Credit Control Assistant in partnership with my well established and successful client based in Lancaster.

This role is Full time on a Temporary ongoing basis for a minimum of 3 months, and pays an hourly rate equivalent to a salary in the region of £17,000 per annum.

Only candidates who are immediately available or have less than 1 week notice to serve can be considered for this position.

Also please bear in mind that While this role has a fantastic chance of being made permanent - it is Temporary, so please only apply if you are happy to undergo a role which is not permanent from the outset.

The role of the Credit Control Assistant will entail:

• Admin support to the Credit Control department
• Proactively communicate with all Customers to promote payment
• Support cash collection
• Take ownership of designated Customer PO enquiries
• To achieve agreed account administration KPIs and standards which will drive customer service excellence within Credit Control.

• Self motivation, flexibility, tenacity and confidence.
• Excellent communication skills – to include written and verbal skills.
• Excellent quality management and accuracy focus in all types of administration.
• Good organisational skills with a detailed and structured approach to work.
• Ability to appraise situations quickly and react accordingly, considering fluctuation in workloads and deadlines.
• Ability to converse confidently with external and internal customers (i.e., speaking clearly, listening, comprehending and interpreting).
• Ability to multi-task and be resilient in a high pressured and fast paced environment.

Professional Experience

• Administration experience in a Credit Control environment.
• Proven experience in the ability to meet robust targets that focus on customer care and accuracy.
• Experience in the consistent use of different systems and Microsoft software packages



Location: Nr Lancaster
Hours: 35 per week, Monday 9-5
Duration: Temp initially for minimum of 3 months, with an strong chance of going permanent
