Reed Specialist Recruitment are searching for a fantastic individual for the Permanent position of Customer Service Representative, for our highly successful and well-established client within the Manufacturing industry in Thetford.

As Customer Support Representative, you will reflect the company’s desire to provide a superior customer experience and respond efficiently to customers, whilst ensuring that the business environment run smoothly.

Responsibilities

- Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face
- Through questioning and diligence, determine which department is best for the customer to liaise with and transfer accordingly
- Greet visitors with a positive and helpful manner, determine their needs and notify the relevant member of staff
- Answering telephone calls in a professional and clear manner, forwarding and screening phone calls and taking messages
- Organising conference and meeting rooms bookings
- Assists others in coordinating meetings and catering
- Assist with maintaining workplace security
- Manage the sign in and visitor badge policy, ensuring that visitors are wearing badges & the sign-in log accurately reflects visitors
- Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks where practical
- Responsible for all activities associated with sending and receiving post and small parcels
- Maintains inventory in customer facing areas
- Maintain knowledge of staff movement in and out of the building
- Tidy and maintain the reception area
- Work with departmental heads to establish and maintain their specific call handling needs
- Provide refreshments to appropriate visitors


Working hours of Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:30pm and Friday 8:30am - 3pm

Skills and experience required

- Excellent and consistent focus on serving the needs, concerns and objectives of customers
- Presentable image with excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Knowledge or experience of administrative procedures
- Knowlegde of computers and relevant software applications (ERP and CRM Systems)
- Ability to work to a switchboard
- Knowledge of B2B functions and practices
- Portrays a professional and beyond helpful image of the company at all times.
- Educated to GCSE standard grade level in Maths and English
- A customer service qualification is desirable
