New opportunity for an HR Administrator to join a manufacturing and distribution company in Rochester, Kent. In this role you will provide a comprehensive HR service to support the effective management of this company’s people and the candidate experience within their recruitment process. This is a temporary 3-month contract, offering an hourly rate of £12.50-£14.50.

You will report to the HR Business Partner.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Support the recruitment process through posting of job advertisements and ensure that all candidates are appropriately responded to at all stages of the process
- Ensure the applicant tracker is up to date and that recruitment documentation is stored correctly
- Generate offer letters and candidate induction packs, ensuring that the appropriate documentation is returned
- File Eligibility to Work documentation in the UK and enter details on the system
- Ensure that references are requested and returned
- Ensure that the HR database is accurate and up-to-date at all times
- Collect weekly agency timesheets, send to agencies and check against invoices
- Scan and file notice of absence certificates, doctors’ notes and return to work interviews
- Manage training records
- Manage admin for leavers and organise exit interviews
- Ensure the safety of oneself and others at all times and adhere to good health and safety practice
- Any other duties as reasonably issued by the Managers

Specification:
- Previous experience of working within an HR environment
- Demonstrated administrative experience
- Excellent communication and IT skills, including working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Well organised and able to balance a heavy workload
- Able to use own initiative and meet deadlines
- A positive and approachable character
