Reed are representing a client who are looking for an experienced HR Professional on an interim basis for around 3 months.
The main duties and responsibilities will be:
To provide advice and guidance on the implementation of Human Resource Procedures and Processes
To provide advice to managers on the interpretation of employee terms and conditions.
To implement a corporate framework ensuring best practice is adhered to and customer service levels are improved.
To research, write and present accurate grading reports for job evaluation scheme ensuring consistency and professionalism.
Deputise for HR Manager's in their absence.
To provide expert advice and undertake investigations into disciplinary cases to ensure a consistent application of disciplinary procedures and that current employment legislation requirements are met.
To monitor sickness levels in all areas and departments, and provide advice, guidance and support to HR Managers and line managers with a view to ensure that appropriate intervention is made in conjunction with Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare.
To manage the application of the pension regulations and associated processes and ensure that all cases adhere to statutory requirements and timescales.
To develop and deliver briefings to managers and staff to inform them of current procedures and processes to ensure that they are managing and supporting their own staff in line with current company and legislative requirements.
Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications
CIPD qualified or equivalent level of expertise and able to demonstrate this.
Analytical mindset and good rational persuasion skills
Excellent IT Skills
Excellent all-round interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of the organisation.
