My client, based in the Newton Abbot area, are currently looking an interim HR Manager to join their team. This role could potentially lead to a permanent position.

The role is a full time, Monday to Friday role, Standard working hours. 

Salary is negotiable but would vary between £30,000 - 40,000 per annum.




HR Manager key responsibilities will include:-
• Lead and develop the HR team
• Develop and implement effective HR policy and procedures
• Manage resourcing requirements, and develop effective resourcing and recruitment strategies
• Proactively lead initiatives for driving learning and development, ensuring managers take responsibility
• Drive the performance capability through management development
• Succession planning
• Manage a range of HR projects
• Manage exit interviews, monitor leaving trends and recommend improvements
• Proactively initiate and recommend organisational change in partnership with Senior Management

The ideal HR Manager:-
• Demonstrates expert standards of advice and support to all managers on generalist HR matters including any impact of employment law
• Previous experience of working at HR Manager level and of managing a small team
• Strategic and leadership skills
• Previous experience of providing a business partner service to senior managers
• Learning and development & performance management experience
• A CIPD qualification is desirable

The role does require occassional travel to the other company sites but all are based around the Kingsbridge - Teignmouth area.

The ideal candidate would be available immediately due to the urgency of the role.
