January start Teacher of Chemistry and/or Physics Long term permanent position

Reed Education Hounslow are currently working with a great school on an exciting new role in the Surrey area.

Starting from January 2018 the school is looking for an outstanding Science Teacher ( Chemistry and/or Physics) to join them on a permanent full time position.

The Role:

• Create a challenging and stimulating classroom climate that will motivate pupils to learn,
• In this position you will be teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4
• Contribute to the organisation and running of co-curricular and enrichment activities
• You will be working with the Science Department to ensure that pupils are supported throughout their learning
• Responsibilities include: planning and preparing engaging lessons and ensuring that every student is progressing
• The school are also keen for you to join in with extra-curricular activities



What you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
• The ability to inspire, motivate and support pupils and colleagues in a successful and dynamic school
• A successful track record teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4
• A strong understanding of the curriculum and differentiating to suit mixed abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Broad subject knowledge and a passion for teaching!
