REED Engineering are currently partnered with a Chester based client who have a requirement at present for a Manufacturing Process Manager, for a permanent position working Monday-Friday.

The Role:

Responsible for production means ensuring product meets efficiency, quality, and HSE targets within the Chemical Plant.

Resonsbibilites:

• Ensure that all Plant Operations, Production and Maintenance Weekly Plans are met through the best usage of all production means in order to reach efficiency, quality and HSE targets.

• Deputise for the Head of Manufacturing.

• To Lead and Support Shift Teams and ensure they deliver on daily production matrics.

• Manage Operations and Maintenance to effectively plan the Maintenance Work Flow Process to ensure optimum Plant Performance.

• To audit maintenance

• To deliver high standards of Health and Safety.

• Drive Business and Process Improvement and promote across site.

Process Details:-
• To ensure that the highest standards of Health, Safety, housekeeping and Environmental performance are met.

• To actively be involved and support the Continuous Improvement teams overseeing the Reaction and separation plant and equipment.

• To manage the compliance and improvements to the COMAH report standards for the Chemical Process Plants.


• Leading Best Practice initiatives across all shifts.

• To deputise for Powder and Coatings – Manufacturing Process Manager during holidays and absence.

• To support the introduction of new products & processes.


Knowledge/Skills:


• University degree in Engineering preferably Chemical

• Experience in Production management in a chemical production environment

• NEBOSH Certified (or other recognised Health & Safety qualification)

• Experience of Managing and working within a COMAH site environment

• Focus on continuous improvement through the use of specific tools and techniques

• Evidence of Analysis and solving of complex problems.
