Reed Recruitment are delighted to have partnered with a UK leading charitable organisation based in Cardiff. This role will be ideally suited to someone with an interest in the 3rd sector and is looking for a role where they can make a real difference on a day to day basis.

On offer is an excellent starting salary of £20,595 with a 35 hour working week and 31 days holiday plus bank holidays.

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following duties and responsibilities:-
• Input and maintain administrative policies ensuring quality and consistency across all business areas.
• Provide line management to administrative assistants, including recruitment, allocation of duties and identification and resolution of staffing issues.
• Acting as a first point of contact for incoming callers to the organisation via both phone and email.
• To oversee the general office management function including the purchasing of office equipment and stationary.
• Day to day control of the office petty cash, including the payment of volunteer expenses and compiling monthly returns for submission to the finance team.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and capabilities:-
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience of managing, supporting and supervising staff and/or volunteers.
• Experience of implementing and managing office administration and the ability to coordinate administrative procedures.
• Excellent IT skills including MS Office package.
• Full driving licence is desirable.
