We are looking for a Payroll Supervisor on a FTC for 3 months for a medium size organisation based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

The role combines supervising the company payroll and overseeing the credit control function. The role is split of 70% payroll supervision and 30% credit control with support from the Sales Ledger Clerk.


• Weekly Payroll –ensure the weekly paid employees and paid accurately and on time.
• Monthly Payroll – ensure information relating to monthly paid employees is passed to head office to facilitate accurate and timely payment of salary
• HMRC - comply with statutory requirements to carry out a range of weekly, monthly and annual processes relating to statutory payroll deductions, payments, recording and reporting.
• System & Administration – develop, maintain and carry out a range of processes to maintain an accurate database and records of current and past employees including starters, leavers, variations, benefits, time and attendance, expenses etc.
• Agency Labour - – develop, maintain and carry out a range of processes to record and reconcile agency labour time and attendance data accurately and on time.
• Reporting - develop, maintain and deliver a range of regular and ad-hoc reports, responses and statistics for use by internal departments and functions, together with external bodies.
• Customer Invoicing & Cash Allocation - Supervision of the Sales Ledger Clerk to ensure all customer invoices are invoiced accurately and on a timely basis.

The ideal candidate will need to have at least 2 years payroll experience, ideally within a fast moving consumer goods organisation and be CIPP qualified or hold a relevant payroll qualification.
