Reed Procurement are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a world famous, global brand based in the heart of Oxford. A brand new position of Procurement Data Analyst has been created. Reporting into the Head of Procurement and assisting a team of Category Managers who create value for money contracts for the provision of a range of goods and services.

This is full time - Permanent - Paying up to the c/£32,00 level.

Role objective: Reporting to the Head of Operational Procurement, you will provide regular and bespoke data reports to support the day-to-day decision making. You will develop and implement effective methods for analysing and interpreting this data, and reporting tools to effectively disseminate information to stakeholders, members, suppliers and staff in a clear and comprehensive way.


To compile, analyse and interrogate various data sources and provide this analysis in a user friendly format to the team (and their stakeholders) to assist them in strategy development and planning, and to enable better informed decision making.

Develop and manage regular reporting to include spend reports, compliance reports and key trend analysis and ensure that they are updated with the most current data.

Produce annual benefit statements based on information held within the systems.

Clearly explain and interpret results, procedures and data requirements for members and colleagues in writing, by telephone and in-person.

Conduct savings opportunities analysis and benchmarking, using market information gathered from multiple sources to identify future trends and contract development opportunities for all category areas.

Analyse management information to monitor, track and report benefits on existing agreements to the procurement team.

Analyse member spend using appropriate techniques to benchmark members against different sector targets.
