An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Manager within a leading construction organisation based in the outskirts of Falkirk, due to a period of continued growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to join a fast-paced and varied role within a leading and innovative organisation.

The role:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies and processes
• Effectively communicate with internal customers and stakeholders to establish and maintain relationships
• Continually strive to improve processes, services and solutions
• Maintenance of functional processes and procedures
• Preparation of ongoing management reports
• Take ownership of vendor database and the approval process
• Manage, lead and develop individuals to build high performing teams

The person:

• Qualified to HNC, Level 4 CIPS or equivalent experience
• Excellent interpersonal skill and ability to build and maintain strong, effective working relationships across the business, influencing key stakeholders
• Strong negotiation abilities
• Commercial awareness
• Strong analytical and IT skills
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude and adaptable to change
