Our client, based on the outskirts of Accrington have 2 projects that they are looking for project support administrators to support them with.
This role forms part of the Project Management Office (PMO) and will support the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution for use across our clients businesses globally.


What the role will involve:-
• Assume responsibility for working with project team members and maintaining complete and accurate records – working with the Project Manager and other stakeholders
• Maintain project plans and track costs under the guidance of the Project Manager.
• Meet regularly with PM to understand the specific needs of each task.
• Assist with managing the PM’s schedule. Coordinate with others if PM is absent or at meetings.
• Assumes responsibility for performing clerical support functions (varies based upon the need) and maintains documentation on the central repository, sharing new/updated documents with the team.
• Support project team members in the creation of business documentation (for example, step-by-step user guides).
• Organise meetings, checking people’s availability to attend and ensuring the right facilities are also available for the meeting.
• Draft project communications to be issued to different stakeholder groups within the company
• Capture meeting minutes and actions.
• Track action progress with action owners, working with them to ensure completion by deadlines and identifying any issues for the Project Manager to address.
• Any other duties deemed as reasonable within the realms of the role.
Skills and Abilities:-
• Good presentation, verbal and written communication skills – excellent clerical skills.
• Quick learner, able to rapidly adapt to changes.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and escalate issues to the Project Manager.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to foster positive and productive client relationships.
• Propensity for multi-tasking.
• Driven to achieving deadlines.
Experience:-
• Previous experience of Business Administration in a business and/or academic context.
• Experience structuring and organising own activities as well as others against a timescale.
• Experience working in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment.
• Hands on experience with flowcharts, technical documentation and schedules.
• Experience working as part of a team.
• Previous experience of minute taking is an advantage.
Knowledge:-
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
• Basic knowledge of email.
• Basic knowledge of other Microsoft tools (e.g. Skype, Sharepoint) would be an advantage


This role will be working Monday to Thursday 8am to 5:15pm and Friday 8am to 1pm
32 days holidays including Bank Holidays

Pension 6% employer contribution
Salary circa £20k per annum
