You are looking for a new career challenge, they are looking for an analytical individual with a good knowledge of production processes to join their Raw Material Planning Team, ensuring the timely, efficient and cost effective supply of raw materials into manufacturing sites, supporting the efficient production of feed.

You'll plan the supply of raw materials into manufacturing sites based on production demand, stock levels and capacity information. You'll provide a good and efficient standard of customer service to our internal stakeholders through positive communication. You'll coordinate with suppliers and hauliers to arrange fixings, confirm delivery instructions and manage delivery exceptions whilst building strong relationships with your contacts. You'll also work collaboratively with the procurement team to manage purchase contract call-offs, actively administering contract balances, providing visibility of significant changes in requirements.

Additionally, you'll investigate and resolve any supplier invoice queries, you'll closely interact and forge relationships with manufacturing sites and you'll assist in the management of site stocks and stock variance controls.

You'll have a good knowledge of production processes and inventory management, also being able to manage third party suppliers and hauliers to optimise costs and attain the highest level of delivery performance. You're highly analytical, with strong Excel skills for database management and analytical purposes. You're able to solve problems, and anticipate any potential issues that may arise. You can also manage a busy workload, especially under pressure.

This role is predominantly office based in our Cambridgeshire office, but will require occasional visits to manufacturing sites.
