Purpose of the Job:
 A trainee Sales Executive is responsible for the growth and retention of clients.
 To proactively research potential markets and identify leads converting them in to prospective clients and achieving business development objectives.
 Using your built relationships with prospects and clients, assist the Account managers where needed to close deals and win new business.
 To develop your knowledge of the aviation industry and commercial awareness.
 To maintain and grow the company bespoke ERP system.
 After training to enthusiastically source solutions to enquiries and actively manage fixtures.
 To produce accurate contracts and paperwork applicable to your work and support the rest of your team when required.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
 Business development and marketing to existing and new prospect customers including telephone and e-marketing.
 Managing client and new prospect relationships.
 After initial training acting as sub-broker on ad-hocenquiries, maintaining high levels of broking activity to find the best solution to meet client’s needs.
 Negotiate and maximise potential margins on all enquiries.
 Anticipating and out manoeuvring rivals in competitive tenders
 Delivering a consistent first class customer service experience is delivered to all customers.
 Taking responsibility for promoting inter-office and department communications
 Assist with the management of existing contracts, including:
 Monitoring flights and calling airline operations to check flight departures.
 Completing the flight watch system
 Assisting with ad hoc reports and analysis.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
 Relevant sales experience
 Highly target driven individual, motivated to ‘Win’ business
 Excellent time management skills to ensure rigorous contract and project deadlines are met
 Commercial awareness
 Customer focused with first rate people skills
 Good written and communication skills
 Excellent IT skills with a knowledge of Microsoft Word, XL and Outlook and the ability to learn
and develop the functionality of a new system
 Able to prioritise work
 Have a flexible approach working in a team environment
 Precise and accurate data entry, with an attention to detail
 Smart/professional appearance
 A motivated and proactive approach to work
