I am seeking a Sales Ledger Assistant to join a large company in Redhill that is a leading organisation in a highly competitive industry. This role is a 12-month fixed contract.

Tasks you will be responsible for include:
- Daily matching of remittances received with the daily cash sheets
- Posting cash receipts, ensuring each transaction matches with the totals received
- Processing of credit/debit adjustments, verifying signed forms before entering onto Banner
- Creating/authorising refund entries, ensuring care is taken to enter the correct amounts
- Responding to queries and complaints in the cashiers’ inbox
- Investigate cash receipts on unallocated cash spreadsheet and allocate to customer accounts when found, updating the spreadsheet when searches have been completed
- Proving holiday and sickness cover for the team, ensuring business critical reports/tasks are completed within specified timeframes
- Assisting other members of the department with tasks to help the department as a whole reach its objectives
- Any other tasks that may be required assigned by the Sales Ledger Team Leader

The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience of sales ledger
- Have strong Excel skills
