Our Client is recruiting for a Scrum Master to join their organisation based in Milton Keynes. The Scrum Master will be responsible for the delivery of a series of projects using Agile methodology. The Scrum Master will be responsible for developing the scrum approach and educating business stakeholders in Scrum in addition to managing a team to deliver against a backlog of products.

Working closely with the Product Owner to understand business needs, the Scrum Master will also manage a scrum of up to 8 people and may be required to manage multiple teams. Additional key stakeholders that will be worked closely with including PMO and Head of Business to manage the progress reports and the Project Sponsor to ensure consistency of information flow.

This role will be based in Milton Keynes however will require regular travel to other offices.


• To create, manage and coach a multi skilled team to deliver against an agreed backlog of products.
• Work with the Product Owner to construct, separate and prioritise the product backlog.
• To monitor the team performance and take action as necessary to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the team.
• Work collaboratively with the team to identify barriers and work with the business to remove them
• Assess team Scrum Maturity and guide to achieve higher levels of maturity
• Set the standards for agile delivery
• Run daily stand up meetings and take any follow up actions needed, in addition to attending scrum stand ups on behalf of the team and any other meetings where a team activity report is needed.
• Provide training on Agile development in addition to educating on adapting an agile mind-set and coaching the team on technology practices.

Skills and Experience:

• 2 years+ experience as a Scrum Master
• 2nd Level Scrum Master Certification is required
• Strong working knowledge of Agile Approaches (Scrum, Scrumban, Kanban and Lean) in addition to extensive experience using Agile techniques including, but not limited to, Automated Testing, User Stories, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration, Testing, Pairing and Agile Games.
• Excellent communication skills
• A proven track record in mentoring and working collaboratively with others.
