A large Professional Services company based in Bromley is seeking a permanent Senior HR Adviser.   

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Providing first line professional, comprehensive and timely advice to managers and staff on a range of general HR queries such as sickness absence management, terms and conditions of employment, disciplinary and grievance issues, performance management, and HR policies and procedures 
• Keeping abreast of developments in HR best practice and employment legislation and in doing so contribute towards the continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures and assist with promoting and communicating changes to the business 
• Providing relevant management information such as headcount and attrition rates as required
• Carrying out Exit Interviews for employees leaving the business at Manager and above levels
• Working with managers in the development and implementation of Development Plans and Career Planning as appropriate
• Supporting the development of the HR team, including training, coaching and knowledge-sharing
• Managing social media accounts for recruitment purposes
• Performing other duties as may be assigned by the manager from time to time

The ideal candidate will have:

• A working knowledge of relevant employment legislation
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high level of situational sensitivity and confidentiality
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload 
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications 
• The ability to develop credibility quickly with all key stakeholders within the business
• Ideally a Professional Services industry background
• Knowledge of using social media for recruitment
• A confident and enthusiastic manner
