Our Client is hiring for a Spray Paint and Warehouse Operative to perform the duties as listed below:

The Role:

Our team is rapidly expanding and an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Spray Painter, who is looking for a dynamic warehouse based role within a friendly and results orientated team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Preparing truss, metal work and wood work for painting.
• Spray painting truss and metal work.
• Hand painting truss, metal work and woodwork.
• Stencilling.
• Mixing paint and cleaning tools and equipment for spraying and stencilling.
• Operating and running the spray booth correctly and in line with company policies and procedures.
• Ensuring the spray booth is clean and protected for painting, changing spray booth filters when required.
• Following company procedures for use of spray guns and pressure fed respiratory equipment
• Ensuring Respiratory Protective Equipment is maintained, inspected and tested in line with a Planned Periodic Maintenance schedule and test log is complete.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• De-taping truss.
• De-loom/loom cable and re-coil.
• De-rigging stage systems.

Standard Companywide Responsibilities:

• Any other duties as required / authorised by your Line Manager / Line Management reporting
line.
• Comply with all Health and Safety requirements.
• Comply with all Policies and Procedures.
• Ensuring the Warehouse and work areas are kept in a clean and tidy manner at all times.
• Load and Unload Trucks, when required.
• To ensure that all flight cases are cleaned, maintained in line with company standards, labelled and stored appropriately.


Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

• Two years’ experience in a similar role.
• A good knowledge of spray booths procedures and air fed respiratory systems.
• High level of both written and verbal communication.
• Ability to take ownership and accountability.
• Autonomy and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Customer focused with a high level of attention to detail.
• Adaptable and results orientated.
• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft office.
• Ability to work for paid overtime when required (including weekends).

Beneficial:

• Relevant spray painting qualification or demonstrable experience.
• Experience within a rental warehouse environment.
