As Assistant Financial Controller, you will support the Financial Controller in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and efficient financial processes. You’ll be involved in preparing financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, VAT submissions, and audit coordination. You’ll also supervise junior finance staff and contribute to their development through training and guidance.
Ideally, you bring at least 3 years of experience in accounting and finance, a strong understanding of Maltese financial reporting standards and VAT regulations, and proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software. An ACCA qualification or a Master’s degree is considered an asset.
