Our client in corporate services is looking for a Compliance Manager to join their compliance department.
As a Compliance Manager, you will oversee the compliance program, functioning as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues within the organisation. You will ensure that management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, that company policies and procedures are being followed, and that behaviour in the organisation meets the company’s Standards of Conduct. You will also coordinate with various departments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and assist in the training of employees on compliance-related topics, policies, or procedures.
The right candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in compliance, with at least 1 year in a managerial position, a recognized degree in criminology, law, finance, or a relevant field, and strong knowledge of Maltese regulatory frameworks.
