Our clients in the investments field are currently looking to onboard a Legal Counsel (UK Graduate) to join their growing team in their Malta office.
As a Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting complex corporate transactions by drafting and negotiating a wide range of legal documents, including those for equity issuances, reductions, redemptions, buybacks, dividends, and intercompany loans. You'll also prepare cashflow reconciliation letters and contribute to strategic reorganisations and solvent liquidations. In this role, you’ll take ownership of corporate governance matters, handling director changes, company detail updates, and Companies House filings, while ensuring company registers and contract records are meticulously maintained.
The ideal candidate must be a qualified English lawyer, with at least 3 years of legal work experience, and have strong grounding in English corporate law.
