We are looking for an Assistant Risk Manager to join our client’s team and help strengthen Malta’s AML/CFT framework. In this role, you’ll oversee operations within the Risk Team, guide and support team members, and contribute to strategic projects that shape compliance standards. You’ll also collaborate with national and international partners and represent the organization in key forums, playing a vital role in the fight against financial crime.
Ideally, you bring an MQF Level 6 qualification in risk management, banking, finance, statistics, economics or a related field, together with at least six years of experience, including one year in a senior role. Strong knowledge of AML/CFT laws and EU standards, excellent analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. Experience with Power BI or other data analysis tools will be considered an asset.
